Now Hiring: Web/Drupal Developer

Elevated Third is a growing digital agency in downtown Denver and we've drunk the Drupal kool-aid. We're looking a motivated, self-starter who enjoys a fast-paced-yet-casual working environment, excels in leveraging innovative and new web technologies across the web spectrum, and enjoys solving multifaceted problems. We work hard, play a lot of foosball, and enjoy a beer or two on Friday.

Responsibilities:

• Working with finished Photoshop designs, slicing layouts, optimizing images
• Writing hand-coded HTML/CSS Drupal themes (increasingly HTML5/CSS3)
• Attention to detail (browser testing, validation, load times)
• Template theming based on finished design files
• Working with jQuery and other various libraries and frameworks
• Layout construction and creation of content-types based on UI wireframes
• Maintenance and upgrades

Requirements:

• Strong HTML/CSS/Javascript skills, interest in HTML5/CSS3/jQuery
• Proficient in PHP, MySQL
• Working knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator
• Strong attention to detail
• Initiative and creativity
• Demonstrated track record of creative problem solving and contributions

The following skills are a plus:

• Experience with Drupal or other template-based CMS systems (Wordpress, Joomla)
• Drupal custom module development
• Experience in designing and coding for SEO
• Experience with Google Analytics, Web Optimizer
• Experience working with mobile websites
• Flash and Actionscript (AS3)
• Experience with JavaScript
• Experience with Apache, UNIX shell, Git, Subversion

Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is self-motivated, who is excited to learn, and who wishes to continually improve their skill base.

The position is contract-to-hire and will be full-time.
