Conception and Storyboarding
For projects such as product demos, video advertisements and homepage vignettes, Flash is a great way to capture an audience with enticing content and multimedia. Before we begin any flash development we first begin with a thorough conception phase to find and clarify ideas.
During conception we use sketches and storyboards, similar to those used in film production, to plan pacing, motion, transitions and content. Voice over scripts are also written and mapped to storyboards so a complete plan is packaged up before Flash development even begins.
Flash Development
Once a solid plan is in place and flat creative is complete, the Flash development process can begin. Using a combination of an extensive library of plugins, custom animation and Actionscript 3 (AS3) programming we bring the storyboard to life.
Integration of audio, video or web API's such as Google Analytics or e-commerce platforms also takes place during the development phase. Data-driven Flash applications are becoming increasingly powerful and we fully support database or XML integration with Flash.
Video Production
With broadband speeds widely becoming the norm video content is becoming a large source of information on the Internet. Similar to our Flash development conception phase, storyboarding for video helps define ideas and content before going on set.
Our focus in video production is primarily creative direction. Being on-set allows us to maintain quality and the integrity of the idea, maintain pace and direct talent. After a shoot, we also provide art direction for motion graphics and see the process through to post-production and editing. Final product is then sent right to Flash for use on websites or other multimedia marketing.
