Dedicated Virtual Hosting
Our websites are usually (though not required to be) hosted on our own virtual dedicated servers located at Media Temple, a premier hosting provider of Adobe, NBC, and Sony. Our customized Linux/Apache servers are maintained at Media Temple's top-tier data center in Los Angeles, CA.
Medial Temple offers 24/7 phone support with professional technicians and employs the highest level of engineering features available in security, cooling and redundancy. We host our own site as well as dozens of client sites on this state-of-the-art dedicated virtual hosting environment – so we practice what we preach.
Hosting for Drupal
The open-source content management solution we prefer, Drupal, runs optimally on our tailored environment that we've developed through years of testing and experience. Although Drupal is open-source and configurable to run on any PHP/MySQL environment, we have found time and time again to not rely on shared hosting for efficiency and uptime.
With our custom hosting configuration we decrease memory overload, lessen page load times and increase database efficiency to keep our websites up and running day and night without any marked-up pricing – you pay exactly what you would for standard shared hosting.
Maintenance and Monitoring
With a custom hosting environment we can personally monitor and maintain all of our websites. In the rare event of an outage, we're immediately notified and take action within minutes.
Development test servers also allow us to work on mirror copies of all our Drupal websites in a parallel environment so there's no surprises when it's time to go live. Automatic backups doubly ensure all our websites are safe and secure.
[Elevated Third] took that knowledge and translated it into a functional site that not only looks great, but enhances our business objectives. They helped us rediscover our brand throughout the creativity process and the end result couldn't be better.
