In some ways, programming is like painting. You start with a blank canvas and certain basic raw materials. You use a combination of science, art, and craft to determine what to do with them.
Focus On The Goal
Steve creates art with his code. He not only connects the metaphorical dots, but figures out where those dots should be on the page. When he's finished, a customized masterpiece is sketched — one that clients can feel proud to hang on their wall.
Writing code has always been a passion for Steve. He got his start in programming in the late 1980s, when his parents got him a used TRS-80 at the age of 9, and he started teaching himself BASIC. By the mid-90s, he had a PC, and started getting into building small websites and pages. Over his career, his passion has only gotten stronger — he loves learning about new technologies and figuring out ways to use them in his work.
Own your happiness
Steve's seen a lot in his career as a developer. With almost 20 years of professional development experience under his belt (and 9 with Drupal), he has created steadfast solutions for clients ranging from small businesses to multiple Fortune 500 companies, across multiple industries.
Steve floats his time between Salt Lake City, UT and rural Montana. In his free time, he enjoys exploring nature, flying drones, and gaming.
