Event Recap: Sales, Meet Marketing BMA Roundtable
This past week, we hosted a two Business Marketing Association Roundtable events focused on sales and marketing at our office.
Jeff Calderone, our managing director, led the interactive presentation focused on better aligning sales and marketing teams to create a cohesive team to close more deals.
Throughout the presentation, 25 members and nonmembers of BMA talked through the culture clash between sales and marketing as well as what both sides want in terms of leads.
Key points from the presentation include:
- The value of lead grading and lead scoring in determining quality leads
- The advantage of implementing marketing automation in the sales process
- Creating common metrics between sales and marketing to succeed
